A CAPTCHA Recognition Algorithm Based on Character Segmentation and Random Forest

Abstract In this paper, the CAPTCHA code is recognized based on character segmentation and random forest algorithm. recognition process, gray conversion method, binarization Gaussian filtering method are used to process image, then projection segment characters. Using algorithm recognize a single character, accuracy reaches 94%. recognition, it found that 5 S, 8 B, 4 A, T F have lowest resolution ratio.
